Fat reduction surgical procedures usually are not a cure. . . but cover a symptom

Weight loss surgeries are not a cure for excessive weight. Actually you only have a few years to enjoy the sole benefits of weight loss operations.

Permanent fat loss is definitely not assured through fat reduction surgeries; rather it is about a change in lifestyle. Clearly fat reduction procedures do not constitute a lifestyle modification.

Types of weight loss surgeries:

There are basically three types of fat reduction surgery strategies;

(i) Restrictive weight loss procedure

(ii) Mal-absorptive fat reduction surgery

(iii) Restrictive and mal-absorptive (Combined) weight loss surgery.

Restrictive fat reduction surgeries are procedures that will reduce the size of the stomach so that you're going to be forced to consume less by limiting the quantity of food your stomach can hold at any given time; hence the idea of restrictive surgery. Normally, this is done in two main ways, either using staples or by using a band.

Both procedures decrease the size of the effective stomach by building a very small pouch out of the main stomach using either the band or staples.

Mal-absorptive weight loss surgical procedures on the other hand do not restrict intake of food. It suppresses absorption of calories. The procedures involve removing a significant length of small intestines from coming in contact with the digested food.

The logic behind mal-absorptive operations are that though you can consume a lot of calories, fewer calories are assimilated into the bloodstream because of a significantly shorter small intestines, the site for nutrient and calorie absorption.

Combined weight loss operations are a cross of the other two techniques. It has become common since it is observed to be more efficient to restrict both calorie consumption and absorption.

It is important that weight loss surgeries is understood. They are not a cure for obesity; they probably will never be. The only known remedy for obesity is a change in daily life to a healthy diet and increased physical activities.

Additionally, much current thought is watching short sleep durations as a widespread cause of hormone imbalances that cause elevated appetite.

Why can't I lose weight no matter what i do?
